Positive: This was our third stay at Gregory, which says a lot about how much we like the place. There really isn't much not to like. The location is beautiful with wonderful sea and mountain views, from inside the apartment itself and from the balcony. There is a lovely, good sized pool, a sunbed area and cafe bar area. The walk to the sandy beach, which has a couple of simple showers and changing cubicles, takes about five minutes, and there are small supermarkets and restaurants within easy reach and more, plus gift shops within a five minute drive along the sea front. Be aware that the apartment is on a steep hill and the approach from the road is very steep, but short. There is a free parking area there which we've always found to have plenty of space. The apartments are quiet and suited to couples and families. There is effective, but quite noisy, air conditioning in the bedroom and sitting room, plus a flat screen television in the bedroom. The bathroom is modern and tiled with a good shower. The little kitchen has a small fridge with freezer compartment, a little two-ring cooker and is equipped with very basic essentials, including a kettle. The host, Mr. Bikakis, is very accommodating and has provided us with various extra kitchen utensils during previous stays, when we've asked. The whole place is very relaxed and wonderful for unwinding and not doing very much, although there are interesting places to visit if you have a car. We recommend Epidavros and Nafplio and the fascinating quirky, Silo Art Factory on the road between Nafplio and Corinth. We also had a mid stay overnight trip to the ancient Byzantine town of Mistras, which was amazing. It's a two-hour drive away. We stayed overnight at a hotel there to avoid too much driving and walking in one day. (We are in our seventies!) Gregory Apartments is simply a beautiful, relaxing place to stay in lovely Tolo. We hope to go again. Definitely recommended.

Negative: There's not much we didn't like. The pillows are rather too plump and firm for us. (My partner says they were 'bouncy'). A choice of sizes would be welcome.The kitchen could be better equipped. We brought our own potato peeler and sharp knife for cutting vegetables, and I bought a cheap mug for my tea as the cups and saucers provided are very small. We also bought washing up liquid, scourer and cloths, and it's a good idea to pack a tea-towel in case there isn't one there. No wine glasses either, but there are glass tumblers. These are minor points. They don't detract from the 10 score.
